Warung Rush

Welcome to your very own medan selera (food court)! The sun is high, but the clock is ticking. You are the sole server for a hungry, ever-growing crowd, and you have only one goal: survive the dinner rush until sunset.

Core Gameplay

  • Fast-Paced Typing: This is a high-speed time-management game. Customers line up to place their orders, and your speed and accuracy at the keyboard are the only things separating you from five-star reviews and utter chaos.
  • Dynamic Difficulty: The game features a dynamic day-to-evening cycle. As the light fades:
    • The orders get progressively Harder.
    • Customers get Faster, reducing your time to complete their request.

How to Play

  1. Wait for the Order: Customers arrive at the counter and their order bubble appears.
  2. Type Fast: Immediately type the customer's order exactly as it appears (NOT case-sensitive) into the order terminal.
  3. Serve & Score: Press ENTER to confirm the order. If correct, you earn money, and the customer leaves happy!

Note: this game is not 100% polished yet but i will update the game after the jam has conluded and I did the programming, while my friend did the pixel arts.

Interesting concept and ideas. It could help to give players a bit more time after serving each customer, and a gradual sky‑dimming effect as time progresses might enhance the atmosphere.
